Starz is powering up yet another Power show.
The network officially announced Power: Legacy, the sixth series in the Power universe, on Thursday. Michael Rainey Jr. and Joseph Sikora will headline the show as their pre-existing characters Tariq St. Patrick and Tommy Egan, respectively.
Rainey and Sikora both debuted their characters in the original Power series' first episode in 2014. Tommy, the best friend of original protagonist James "Ghost" St. Patrick (Omari Hardwick), appeared in every episode of the original show, while Tariq, who is Ghost's son, recurred on the first two seasons before becoming a regular on seasons 3 through 6.

The two actors each headlined their own Power spinoff after the flagship series concluded in 2019. Rainey led Power Book II: Ghost, which ran for four seasons from 2020 to 2024 and followed Tariq as he became further enmeshed in New York's drug-dealing underworld. Sikora guested on three episodes of the show.
Meanwhile, Sikora led Power Book IV: Force for three seasons from 2022 to 2025. The series saw Tommy launch a new criminal enterprise in Chicago. Rainey guested on the show's series finale in November, which saw Tariq invite Tommy to "start some new s---" back in New York.

"Power never dies, and this chapter is our biggest yet," Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson, who has executive produced every Power show, said in a press release. "Fans have been waiting to see Tariq and Tommy together, and now they're taking over New York City. Bringing Joseph and Michael back together is special, they've turned these characters into true icons of the 'Power' universe."
Executive producer and showrunner Gary Lennon hinted that Tariq and Tommy might not remain chummy as they expand their reach in the Big Apple. "It's going to be electrifying to see if these two men can share the city, the game and the intoxicating drug known as POWER," he said in the press release.

In addition to Ghost and Force, Power has also launched two additional spinoffs prior to Legacy. Power Book III: Raising Kanan explores the early years of antagonist Kanan Stark, who was played by 50 Cent in the original series and by Mekai Curtis in this prequel show. The series is set to premiere its fifth and final season on June 12.
