San Antonio Spurs head coach Mitch Johnson's work doesn't end at the final buzzer during NBA Finals. At home, he faces his next matchup: raising four children with his wife, Jessica.

"He doesn't know it yet, but it's his turn to do bath time tonight," Jessica jokingly captioned a May 2025 TikTok of Mitch leading the Spurs on the court.

The couple share four children: daughters Tasia and Tatum and sons Johnnie and Jameson. Mitch comes from a prolific basketball family, too. His father, John Johnson, was a member of the Seattle SuperSonics' 1979 championship team and a two-time NBA All-Star.

The 2025-2026 season marks Johnson's first full year as the Spurs head coach, but he's been with the team since 2016, where he started as an assistant coach for their G-league team, the Austin Spurs.

On June 5, the Spurs will play against the Knicks in Game 2 of the NBA Finals after a 105-95 loss in Game 1.

"We didn't get the outcome we wanted," Johnson told press after Game 1. "There will be a lot of feedback from breaking this down, and hopefully we use that information to come out and be better."

Here's everything to know about Mitch Johnson's wife and kids.

Jessica and Mitch both grew up in Seattle, and that's where they spent the beginning of their marriage before moving to Texas for Mitch's job with the Spurs.

While the move was an exciting opportunity for the family, Jessica acknowledged the weight of this change. This next chapter meant "leaving the only place I knew my entire life," Jessica wrote on TikTok in 2026.

Their older daughter, Tasia, graduated from high school in 2025, according to Jessica's TikTok, while their younger daughter, Tatum, is a teenager, and their older son, Johnnie, is a young child.

The couple announced they were expecting their youngest child, son Jameson, in 2023 video in which Johnnie wore a "big bro" denim jacket. Since then, Jameson has fit right into their lineup.

"He thinks he's part of the starting 5," Jessica captioned a video of Jameson toddling into the Spurs arena tunnel in November 2025.

They give back to the community

Off the court, the Johnson family supports their San Antonio community.

In June 2025, Mitch and Jessica visited young patients at Methodist Children's Hospital.

They spent time crafting with children in the oncology unit, cuddling with service dogs and accompanying patients in music therapy.

"It was an incredible experience to connect with these brave kids," Mitch said in a statement. "Their strength and resilience inspire me, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to bring a little joy to their day."

When it comes to support, Mitch's home team will always cheer him on from the sidelines.

"Our WCF (Western Conference Finals) CHAMP!!!! We love you more than you know," Tasia wrote in an Instagram post showing the whole family posing with the trophy in May 2026.
