Neither Cardi nor Diggs has said anything publicly about where things stand. Diggs had already raised eyebrows earlier in the night by attending Cardi’s D.C. show with his mother, Stephanie Diggs, and his brother, Trevon Diggs, and footage shared on social media showed him in the crowd enjoying the concert with his family, which was enough on its own to get fans speculating. Back in February, a source told PEOPLE that Cardi had decided to pull back from the relationship, claiming, “Things were getting too heated and complicated. Cardi is very no-nonsense.” They added, “The second she felt that she couldn’t trust him, she pulled back to focus on her kids, her music and tour.”

Now, after this sighting, the conversation has changed again. As fans continue to speculate whether Cardi B and Stefon Diggs’ public moment was just two people who share a child, or something more, nobody outside their circle can confirm the status of their relationship.
