The former actress revealed Harry’s inspiring quote during a Q&A for her new documentary, Cookie Queens. Notably, Cookie Queens is a documentary about Girl Scouts that the Sussexes have executive-produced. It will be released theatrically on August 7.

Meghan Markle candidly shared the best advice she has received from Prince Harry that has carried her through some difficult moments in life. During a Q&A for Cookie Queens, the Duchess of Sussex was asked how she keeps herself motivated through “tough moments” (via PEOPLE).

The Suits star replied that she tries to follow a positive quote her husband shared with her “ages ago.” Markle remarked, “I think so much of it. Funny enough, I was thinking about something my husband told me ages ago because we all go through experiences, and life is full of surprises.”

She added, “But you know, he was a helicopter pilot in the British Army for 10 years. And sometimes on really hard days, he once said, ‘Hey, but my love, you know, even if there’s a storm happening, above the storm, the sun’s always shining.’”

The Duchess of Sussex explained how Harry’s advice especially makes sense “when you think about zooming out a little.” Moreover, Markle added that “no matter what feels insurmountable, there’s just always that sun shining above it.”

Previously, Harry disclosed the life-saving advice he had received from his wife. In an interview with The Guardian, Harry said, “She said, ‘Just stick to the truth.’ It is the thing I always fall back on. Always.” He also jokingly added, “And if you think like that, who would be stupid enough to lie? It takes up too much time and effort.”

For those unversed, Harry recently visited the UK to honor his commitment during the one-year countdown to the Invictus Games, which will be held in Birmingham next year. The Sussexes then paid a visit to King Charles and Queen Camilla at the monarch’s Highgrove residence in Gloucestershire.
