Roman Reigns‘ WWE schedule continues to take shape beyond SummerSlam. The company officially confirmed that the World Heavyweight Champion will compete in a PLE he hasn’t wrestled on in three years.
The announcement also outlines several television appearances leading into the fall.
While Reigns’ immediate focus remains his SummerSlam title defense against Seth Rollins, WWE has now revealed where fans can expect to see the champion in the months that follow.
Roman Reigns officially added to WWE Money in the Bank 2026
WWE announced on social media (X) that Reigns is scheduled to compete at Money in the Bank on Saturday, October 10, at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. The event marks his first appearance at the Premium Live Event since 2023.
Reigns last competed at Money in the Bank during the “Bloodline Civil War” in London. During that event, he teamed with Solo Sikoa against The Usos. He did not appear at the event in the following years as WWE shifted to a lighter schedule for the former Undisputed WWE Champion.

The announcement also confirms Reigns’ upcoming appearances after SummerSlam. Following his World Heavyweight Championship defense against Seth Rollins on night two of SummerSlam, he is advertised for the August 3 edition of RAW in Des Moines, Iowa.
His schedule also includes RAW on August 17 in Buffalo, New York; a RAW and SmackDown taping in Cleveland, Ohio, on August 28; RAW in Mexico City on September 14; and another RAW appearance in St. Louis, Missouri, on October 5 before Money in the Bank.
Money in the Bank underwent multiple schedule changes before settling on its October 10 date. Originally planned for late August, it was later moved to Sept. 6. Before finally landing in October, WWE considered hosting the event in late August and then September 6. WWE has also confirmed that both the men’s and women’s MITB ladder matches will take place as usual.
Before Reigns can turn his attention to October, however, he must first get past Rollins at SummerSlam. If he leaves Minneapolis with the title around his waist, the OTC will have another major stage waiting.
