Though Vanderpump Rules has moved on with an all-new set of SUR-vers, the original SUR crew has mostly gone its separate ways.
For one, this week makes the debut of House of Stassi, an all-new, unfiltered reality show centered on the life of SURâs former resident mean girl and queen bee, Stassi Schroeder. And while Stassi has been open about how sheâs chilled out since leaving the series that made her reality royalty, sheâs finally ready to return â on her own terms.
âThereâs one thing I know how to do on reality TV, and itâs bleed out with honesty. So if you want that, hire me,â Stassi told Glamour, recalling a line sheâd repeat in every pitch meeting for House of Stassi, which she also executive produces.
House of Stassi will reunite Stassi on television with her longtime on-again, off-again friend Katie Maloney, who was also part of the original cast of Vanderpump Rules. The series will also feature Stassiâs husband, Beau Clark, and her other pal Kristina Kelly, both of whom made appearances on VPR back in the day.
Vanderpump Rules originally began as a spin-off of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and followed the employees of RHOBH star Lisa Vanderpump at her West Hollywood restaurant as they slept with each other, fought each other, and showed off terrible food-service skills.
Over the years, the restaurant mattered less and less as the starsâ exploits moved beyond that little corner of WeHo. Maybe thatâs why VPR hit a rut around season 7. Most of the cast no longer worked at SUR; they were all coupled up and living in the Valley. Season 8âs desperate attempt to bring in new employees fell flat; main stars Stassi, Kristen Doute, Jax Taylor, and Brittany Cartwright were all fired, making the mid-pandemic season 9 feel like the show was on its way out.
Then Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz split, Tom Sandovalâs affair with Raquel Leviss was revealed, and Vanderpump Rules got a second life full of breakups, betrayals, and new starts. It even got a spinoff, The Valley, which brought back Jax, Brittany, and Kristen, for better or worse.
As we prepare to welcome Stassiâs drama back to our screens, Entertainment Weekly catches up with the rest of the OG Vanderpump cast.

Lisa Vanderpump

Lisa Vanderpump still lords over the show as the titular Vanderpump for the new era, but her power had waned over the years as her original employees outgrew their jobs and forced her to choose sides in feuds and breakups. As VPR exploded out of her control, she turned her attention to other ventures alongside husband Ken Todd, including new restaurants in Las Vegas and a new show, Huluâs Vanderpump Villa.
Lisa is still focusing on her love of dogs, hosting star-studded galas for her Vanderpump Dog Foundation and offering opinions â welcome and unwelcome â on the love lives of her former employees. She also continues to expand her brand. In June 2026, she opened The Vanderpump Hotel at the former Cromwell on the Vegas Strip, and she operates multiple other Vegas locales, including Vanderpump Cocktail Garden, Vanderpump Ă Paris, and Pinkyâs by Vanderpump at the Flamingo.
She also opened Wolf by Vanderpump in Lake Tahoe, followed by a second location in Scottsdale, Ariz.

Stassi Schroeder

VPR can be fairly described as a show about messy people working in a restaurant, and Stassi was often at the center of the drama. But she was also a star, and, for a while, a fabulous villain. Bravo fired her in 2020 after she and Kristen Doute falsely told authorities that Faith Stowers â VPRâs only Black cast member at the time â was a wanted criminal who had been featured in the tabloids. Stassi and Kristen have since apologized for the ordeal.
Since her exit, Stassi has dialed things back while still being very much her unfiltered self. She and Beau Clark have gotten married and now have a son and a daughter. Stassi has written three New York Times best-selling books and has opened up about her regrettable past behavior. You can hear all about it on her podcast, STASSI with Tay. She also appeared alongside Vanderpump in seasons 2 and 3 of Vanderpump Villa. Her own series, House of Stassi, premiered in July 2026.

Scheana Shay

Scheanaâs the one who started it all. She first appeared on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills as the woman who slept with Brandi Glanvilleâs husband, actor Eddie Cibrian, before he got with LeAnn Rimes. We watched her marry Mike Shay, divorce Mike Shay, meet Brock Davies, have a baby with Brock Davies, and then marry Brock Davies in 2022. Then she had to find out that her close friend Tom Sandoval was cheating on her other close friend Ariana Madix with a different close friend, Raquel Leviss. It was rough.
In 2025, Scheana became a New York Times best-selling author with the release of her tell-all memoir, My Good Side. She made brief appearances on the first and second seasons of the VPR spinoff, The Valley, but has not appeared in season 3.
On the side, she runs her own and her daughterâs Instagram accounts and hosts the podcast Scheananigans.

Jax Taylor

For a minute there, it seemed VPRâs resident chaos agent had finally found an even keel, having settled down and started a family with Brittany Cartwright. She and Jax launched a podcast, When Reality Hits, and appeared as a relatively happy little family when VPR spinoff The Valley premiered in March 2024. He also competed on the first season of E!âs House of Villains.
Viewers, however, knew better than to think Jax and Brittany were endgame: The couple separated in February 2024, and Brittany filed for divorce that August. The next month, Jax announced that he had been diagnosed with bipolar disorder and PTSD after seeking inpatient treatment. He returned for the second season of The Valley to uncomfortable results, with his distressing treatment of Cartwright in the wake of their separation broadcast for all to see.
Jax left The Valley following the conclusion of a fraught second season, saying in a statement: âAfter an incredibly challenging year and many honest conversations with my team and producers, Iâll be stepping away from the next season of The Valley. Right now, my focus needs to be on my sobriety, my mental health, and coparenting. Taking this time is necessary for me to become the best version of myself â especially for our son, Cruz.â
While Brittany has been open about her struggles to coparent with Jax during the third season of The Valley, Jax isnât done making headlines. In 2026, it came to light that heâd been engaged in an affair with his and Brittanyâs longtime publicist, Lori Krebs. Brittany has since dropped Krebs as her publicist.

Kristen Doute

Kristen was known for stirring the pot, especially within her relationships. She was often jealous but had her own history of being unfaithful. After being fired for her racist treatment of Faith Stowers, she seemingly used the time off to work on herself. By the time she returned for an appearance in the season 10 finale, she was able to hug and comfort Ariana in a way that would have been impossible to imagine in the bitter aftermath of her involvement with Kristenâs ex, Tom Sandoval.
Kristen returned to Bravo full-time on The Valley, where she introduced viewers to her new boyfriend Luke Broderick. The two are now engaged and are the proud parents of Kaia, who they welcomed in June 2025. On the current season of The Valley, Kristen has been refreshingly candid about her postpartum struggles and how theyâve affected her relationship with Luke. The pair cohost a podcast, Balancing Act, though they havenât released a new episode since February 2026.

Tom Sandoval

Once upon a time, the main cast of Vanderpump Rules only had one Tom. That was Tom Sandoval, who was introduced as the hot bartender who was dating waitress Kristen Doute and dreaming of rock stardom. He spent most of his time trying to convince Kristen he wasnât cheating, especially not with his new bartender friend Ariana. By season 3, he and Ariana were together and dealing with Kristenâs jealousy.
In 2022, he was riding high with his band, Tom Sandoval and the Most Extras, and making plans for a new bar, Schwartz & Sandyâs â and then had an affair with costar Raquel Leviss. The cheating scandal, a.k.a. âScandoval,â divided the cast, endangered the new bar, put a damper on his bandâs tour, and sent Ariana skyrocketing toward fame and fortune while Sandoval got carried by Jojo Siwa through the wilderness on Special Forces.
On the bright side, Sandoval was amusing on season 3 of The Traitors and also appeared on reality competitions like Americaâs Got Talent and House of Villains. He hosts a podcast, Everybody Loves Tom. Schwartz & Sandyâs closed in 2024, but TomTom, the bar and restaurant he co-founded with Tom Schwartz, Vanderpump, and Ken Todd, is still open.

Ariana Madix

Ariana began as a guest star â she tended bar at another Vanderpump restaurant â but eventually became a full-timer as her relationship with Tom Sandoval developed. By season 10, she and Sandoval had bought a house together and she was reluctantly exploring creating embryos with the eggs she had frozen.
Then came Scandoval. Ariana discovered an inappropriate video of Raquel on Sandovalâs phone, uncovering a months-long affair that blew up their lives but propelled Ariana to a level of fame most VPR stars only dream of. She made it to the finals of Dancing with the Stars, starred as Roxie Hart in Chicago for multiple runs, and currently hosts the U.S. version of Love Island. She also opened a sandwich shop with Katie, wrote a cocktail book, starred in multiple ad campaigns, and appeared as herself in season 3 of Will Trent.
As of July 2026, Ariana can add âEmmy nomineeâ to her rĂ©sumĂ© â she was recently nominated for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Host for a Reality or Reality Competition Program for her hosting duties on Love Island USA.

Katie Maloney

Katie spent the first nine seasons in a relationship with Tom Schwartz. The two had their share of tension, but it still came as a surprise when they announced their divorce in 2022. They had been together for 12 years and married for six. While the cast reboot was a surprise to many, for Katie, the timing was just right, as she says she was headed out anyway.
âI didnât plan on returning,â she said shortly after the reboot seasonâs announcement. âI felt like my life and where I was at was moving in a different direction. Mentally, emotionally, physically, spiritually, I was prepared to move on from the show.â
While her beauty and lifestyle blog, Pucker & Pout, has all but disappeared, sheâs moved on to more successful ventures. After years of development and construction, she and Ariana opened up a sandwich shop, Something About Her, just up the street from SUR. She also teamed up with one-time VPR costar Dayna Kathan to co-host the podcast Disrespectfully, and has collaborated with Quickies on a line of press-on nails.
Katie also has a new love in her life: Sheâs been dating Sleeping With Sirensâ guitarist Nick Martin since 2024. Sheâll make her highly anticipated return to reality TV on House of Stassi.

Tom Schwartz

Tom Schwartz on season 5 of âVanderpump Rulesâ; Schwartz on âWatch What Happens Liveâ in 2025Credit: Bravo; Getty
While he eventually became a vital part of the wacky Vanderpump world, Tom Schwartz was merely a side character for the first two seasons. He appeared frequently as Katieâs boyfriend, an aspiring model who seemed sort of lost in the world. He tried to work at PUMP once, but had a panic attack and bailed. He and Katie got married in 2016, but divorced in 2022, splitting custody of their two dogs.
Schwartz has kept his name out there as a cast member on both Stars on Mars and Winter House, and as a co-owner of the L.A. bar Schwartz & Sandyâs, alongside Tom âSandyâ Sandoval. The Toms announced in November 2024 that Schwartz & Sandyâs would be closing at the end of the year, bringing an end to an era â a brief, dramatic, lobster corndog-filled era. TomTom, the bar and restaurant he co-founded with Sandoval, Vanderpump, and Ken Todd, is still open.
After appearing as a guest on the first two seasons of The Valley, Schwartz was promoted to the main cast for season 3. He also used the show to introduce his new girlfriend, model Kianna Carroll.

Brittany Cartwright

Brittany was introduced in Season 4 as Jaxâs new girlfriend; they had met two weeks earlier in Las Vegas. She moved from Kentucky to Los Angeles to live with him, worrying his friends in the process. Brittany was so nice, and Jax was so⊠Jax. They had their ups and downs and cheating scandals and even booked their own spinoff before eventually getting married in 2019. Their son, Cruz, was born in 2021, and the couple started a podcast, When Reality Hits. They also starred together on The Valley, but that turned out to be the beginning of the end.
After one season on The Valley, Brittany filed for divorce in August 2024, and, as of this writing, the proceedings are still ongoing. As noted previously, Jax and Brittanyâs appearance on the second season of The Valley was a tough watch, and Jax thankfully left prior to the third season. Season 3 saw her undergoing her long-coveted âmommy makeover.â
Unfortunately, with the latest drama surrounding her now-former publicist, Lori Krebs, it seems that Brittany will never be free of the media circus surrounding her ex.

James Kennedy

DJ James âThe White Kanyeâ Kennedy was introduced at the end of season 2, just before he became Kristenâs rebound from Tom Sandoval. The aspiring DJ worked his way up to working DJ and main cast member whose girlfriends also became series regulars. In season 5, that girlfriend was Raquel Leviss.
After they broke off their engagement in season 9, he introduced new girlfriend Ally Lewber to the mix. He and Ally split up in January 2025 â one month after he was arrested at their home on suspicion of domestic violence. Prosecutors ultimately declined to file charges, and Lewber insisted that she was ânot physically hurt.â
James continues to DJ around the country and is currently expecting his first child with his fiancée, Jordan Meyers.

Rachel âRaquelâ Leviss

Raquel, a former pageant contestant, joined season 5 as Jamesâs new girlfriend, which eventually led to his Coachella-themed surprise proposal. Their engagement didnât last long, though, and they announced that they had called it off during the season 9 reunion. The following season, Raquel began an affair with Tom Sandoval. After the scandal erupted, she spent time at a voluntary inpatient mental health facility in Arizona.
Her big move after the scandal was to go back to her given name, Rachel, and start a podcast, Rachel Goes Rogue, which lasted less than a year. In October 2024, she announced that she was stepping away from the podcast to focus on her new relationship with rocket engineer Jason Boucher, who often appears in her Instagram photos. Her bio indicates that she is now a âwellness event coordinatorâ and âcertified sound bowl practitioner.â
She is also suing both Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix over alleged revenge porn and invasion of privacy. The case was initially set for trial in November 2025 but was delayed by Madixâs appeal. In May 2026, a California appellate court indicated that it was unlikely to block Levissâ lawsuit against Madix from moving forward.

Lala Kent

Lala made quite the splash when she arrived in season 4 and caught the eye of every guy at SUR. Unfortunately for them, she only had eyes for movie producer Randall Emmett. Lala gave birth to their daughter, Ocean, in 2021, and the couple split later that year. In the years since, she has been as open as possible about their rough custody battle, which has since been resolved, and his alleged history of cheating.
Lala gave birth to a second daughter, conceived via IUI, in September 2024. She currently hosts the podcast Untraditionally Lala and was promoted from guest star to main cast alongside Schwartz for season 3 of The Valley. There, she continues to stir up trouble with her brutally honest, no-nonsense attitude.

Randall Emmett

When Lala began dating Randall in 2015, she didnât want his identity known, as he was still finalizing his divorce from Ambyr Childers, from whom he separated that year. Once the divorce was resolved, the prolific movie producer began showing up on screen. However, things got messy, as Lala accused him of cheating on her with multiple women during their six years together. That was just the tip of the iceberg. A 2022 Los Angeles Times exposĂ© detailed allegations of abuse and claims that he offered movie roles in exchange for sex, all of which he denied. He was also the subject of a documentary, The Randall Scandal: Love, Loathing and Vanderpump (2023).
Emmett co-parents daughter Ocean with Lala and is still producing and directing movies, sometimes under the pseudonym Ives. He directed the John Travolta action movies Cash Out (2024) and High Rollers (2025) under the pseudonym and The Gentleman Thief (2026) under his own name.

Peter Madrigal

Peter has been a VPR mainstay since the first episode. He was a manager at SUR and is one of the few longtime faces from the show who continued to work there throughout its run. He wasnât always involved in the drama, but he did date Stassi and hook up with Katie before the show began.
Peter didnât appear in season 11, claiming that Bravo didnât have room in the budget to pay him, but he went on to launch an app, The Reality Network, on the Roku streaming platform. He even made an appearance in the overhauled season 12 of VPR.
According to his LinkedIn, he left SUR in January 2026. He currently works as both a real estate agent and a Vice President at a metal-buying company, Space Metal Reclamation.
